anatomical feet drawing by dan thompson
Master Class: Drawing the Feet (Online)
Instructor: Dan Thompson
Location: Online
Saturday-Sunday
June 26 — June 27, 2021
Time: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Tuition: $299

This class will be held online using Zoom for live teaching and Google Classroom for resources and materials. Students will need access to a laptop or desktop computer. Find further instructions for working online and the supply list at the bottom of the page.

This intensive course has been designed to focus on the human foot. Beginning with an overview exploring structures to interpret from life, students will be guided through practical application—drawing the anatomy, proper movement, the planes of light and shadow on feet and the fascinating subtlety of the upper foot region. Given the unfamiliarity with the foot and its constructive subdivisions, this opportunity promises profound insights into how to conceive of and then draw the full geometry of the foot.
