Workshops

These intensive programs concentrate on a single aspect and allow artists, both working professionals and serious amateurs, to build upon their existing skills and learn new ones. Workshops are day-long classes usually running for five consecutive days. They are taught by Studio Incamminati instructors and carefully selected visiting instructors. Workshops are offered throughout the year at Studio Incamminati's Philadelphia studio and at selected locations around the United States. A portfolio review is not required.

Portfolio Preparation for Emerging Artists is a series of three, five-day workshops offering high school students the opportunity to advance their art skills and strengthen their portfolios under the guidance of Studio Incamminati's professional, working artists.  

In Week One: Figure Drawing in Graphite, students focuses on the study of the human figure utilizing graphite pencils, wokring from the live nude model posed in artificial light.

In Week Three: Advanced Portraiture in Oil, students focus on the  anatomy of the human head, neck and shoulders, exploring in–depth the bones and muscles that affect the portrait artist.

Painting the Figure: Face and Head

Workshops Payment and Refund Policies
Due to limited class space, tuition is non-refundable. A credit for tuition may be issued up to
30 days before the first workshop class. No credit will be issued after that time. Credits are valid from one year of issue. Registration and enrollment is first-come, first-served with full tuition due at time of registration.
Continuing Education and Emerging Artists School-year Program Payment and Refund Policies
Due to limited class space, tuition must be paid in full at time of registration. A $100 fee is applied for cancellation up to the first class. No refunds will be issued after the first class.
