Emerging Artists

Emerging Artists for high school students boasts a school-year program that meets Saturdays October to April, a continuing art-education program at Doane Academy, Burlington, NJ, and a new Summer Youth Program.

Emerging Artists 2017 Summer Youth Program

The Emerging Artists Summer Youth Program is an engaging series of three, five-day workshops. Drawing and painting from life, in a professional setting, high-school students can advance their art skills and build their portfolios for studies after graduation. Students also visit the Philadelphia Museum of Art and display their work at an evening group exhibition.

In Week Three: Advanced Portraiture: The Long Pose, students build on the concepts taught during Week Two by working on one pose for the entire week.

Workshops Payment and Refund Policies
Due to limited class space, tuition is non-refundable. A credit for tuition may be issued up to
30 days before the first workshop class. No credit will be issued after that time. Registration and enrollment is first-come, first-served with full tuition due at time of registration.
Continuing Education and Emerging Artists School-year Program Payment and Refund Policies
Due to limited class space, tuition must be paid in full at time of registration. A $100 fee is applied for cancellation up to the first class. No refunds will be issued after the first class.
