Sanguine: An Exploration in Red Chalk

The first week will be spent toning paper, becoming familiar with supplies, and experimenting with short poses on pastel paper. You may bring sheets of Canson Mi-Tientes or a pad of multicolored pastel paper for this.

Subsequent weeks will require toned paper (prepared in week 1) for longer studies. One sheet yields four 15”x19” pieces.

Class will include three one-week of short poses, two two-week poses and one three-week pose.

Wendy, an Advanced Fine Art Program graduate and school Fellow, has taught at Creative Genius Art Gallery, Medford, NJ. She has exhibited at Freeman’s, the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra gala and in shows in Avery Galleries, Bryn Mawr; Philadelphia, New Jersey and Florida. Wendy, whose work hangs in several private collections, earned a BFA from Moore College of Art & Design.

Workshops Payment and Refund Policies
Due to limited class space, tuition is non-refundable. A credit for tuition may be issued up to
30 days before the first workshop class. No credit will be issued after that time. Credits are valid from one year of issue. Registration and enrollment is first-come, first-served with full tuition due at time of registration.
Continuing Education and Emerging Artists School-year Program Payment and Refund Policies
Due to limited class space, tuition must be paid in full at time of registration. A $100 fee is applied for cancellation up to the first class. No refunds will be issued after the first class.
