Daniel Mahlman, a Studio Incamminati graduate and former Fellow, is a principal instructor with the Project HOME art program which uses drawing to help transitioning homeless gain critical thinking and life skills. A Philadelphia native, his recent exhibitions include a solo show of pen and ink work at the Banana Factory in Bethlehem, PA; the Lore Degenstein Gallery Figurative Drawing and Painting Competition; and New Trails, a group show art event across various galleries in Philadelphia charged with creating site-specific work celebrating the historic Wissahickon Creek Park. Daniel maintains a studio practice painting and also collaborates with local writers to create a series of graphic micro-novels. Daniel lives and works in West Philadelphia.
