Artistic Committee

The Artistic Committee is responsible for overseeing the continual development of the Advanced Fine Art Program curriculum and ensuring the educational welfare of the student body. The committee works directly with other faculty members and the administration to guarantee the continued artistic progress of students and ensure that the quality of teaching is of the highest possible standard.

Leona Shanks, Chair and Artistic Director

Leona, who co-founded Studio Incamminati with husband Nelson and is graduate of the school, was a Finalist in the Still Life Category of the Art Renewal Center 2011/2012 International Salon Competition. Her solo exhibition, Searching the Soul, was featured at Dacia Gallery in New York and her work was included in the World of Art Showcase in Las Vegas, a collection of 70 artists and 2,000 pieces of art. 

Kerry Dunn

A Studio Incamminati graduate, Kerry also teaches in the school's In Your Town off-site workshops, Kerry was named "one of 25 Artists of Tomorrow" by American Artist magazine. His self-portrait was awarded Best in Show in the Portrait Society of America's 2013 International Portrait Competition and was featured on the cover of American Art Collector. Kerry also earned a Certificate of Excellence in the Portrait Society of America's 2009 competition and earned an Exceptional Merit Award from the society in 2007.
