Project HOME Artists at the Rittenhouse Square Fine Art Show

Artists from the Project HOME Art Program, a foundational art workshop in collaboration with Studio Incamminati, display - and sell - their art in the oldest outdoor art show in the country.

The art program, in its second year, is a 10-week foundational course using still-life charcoal drawing to teach participants to utilize art to communicate experiences, offer personal perspectives and build skills. It is based on Studio Incamminati’s curriculum which requires artists to see the “big picture,” develop motor skills and utilize critical thinking.

As participants learn principles of drawing from Studio Incamminati Instructor Dan Mahlman and Fellows Rachel Pierson and Barbara Zanelli, they also develop practical, social and technical skills.
