Day Programs offer artists whose schedules prohibit taking Evening and Weekend classes the opportunity to concentrate on skill development in specific areas of realist drawing and painting. Students experience focused study in small, intensive groups led by professional artists. Courses and lectures are conducted at Studio Incamminati’s main studios in Center City, Philadelphia. Day Program participants and alumni receive invitations to lectures and special events at Studio Incamminati. Each program runs for 10 weeks with one extra week for any make-up days. Enrollment is limited to first-come, first-served.
Day Program participants and alumni also receive invitations to lectures and special events at Studio Incamminati. All are welcome to join Professional Program artists in Open Studio sessions most Sundays from 1–4 p.m.

The course goal is to develop and strengthen students' intuition and analytical skills. Students learn the principles of drawing through series of short (20 minute) and long (multiple day) poses with the figure. The short poses drive students to select and filter information quickly, a process helping them overcome inhibitions that often hinder the ability to see clearly and express freely. When they attain proficiency at this stage, they move into the long poses where the focus shifts from quick gestural drawings to careful, analytical study of the proportional, value, and edge relationships in the figure.
Jafang Lu was awarded a Merit Scholarship at the Art Students League of New York. She holds a Bachelors of Art from the City College of New York University.
