Rowan family receives Founders' Day award,
working together to make philanthropy a family affair

The Rowan Family received Studio Incamminati's 2015 Founders' Award at a ceremony during the school's 13th Anniversary Celebration at Glen Foerd on the Delaware. The Rowans have been praised as "among our nation's most generous philanthropists."

Family patriarch Henry Rowan, founder of the international Inductotherm Group of companies, along with his wife, Lee, their daughter Virginia Rowan Smith and her husband, Manning, have given millions in the pursuit of educational excellence. Included in the dozens of organizations the family's Henry M. Rowan Foundation has supported are its namesake Rowan University, the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, Studio Incamminati, and Doane Academy, Studio Incamminati's partner in an innovative art program. The Founders' Award honors those whose contributions to the arts and education have positively and significantly impacted our community, leaving it in a better place.
