Studio Incamminati Partners with Rowan University to Offer Unique BFA Program

Already established and revered in the art world, Philadelphia’s Studio Incamminati offers students the opportunity to earn a comprehensive BFA from a nationally ranked university while receiving rigorous realist fine arts training in a studio setting.

“Partnerships like this are important because they increase access and provide the highest quality education for students,” said Rowan University Provost Anthony Lowman.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art: Studio Incamminati Atelier Concentration will begin Fall 2020. Both Rowan University students and those enrolled in Studio Incamminati are eligible to apply to the newly established program. Studio Incamminati students are also eligible to begin taking Rowan courses during the summer through the Studio Incamminati Summer Scholarship. The scholarship will reduce tuition by 50-percent for up to six credits and can be renewed for up to three years.

“This partnership will allow students to work in an environment that provides an in-depth experience that nurtures their artistry in contemporary realist painting while earning their degree,” said Sanford Tweedie, Dean of Rowan’s College of Communication & Creative Arts, which houses the Department of Art.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Rowan University,” said Studio Incamminati Dean of Fine Arts Dan Thompson. “A college degree is important for artists, and our students will benefit from Rowan’s abundance of educational opportunities.”
