Studio Incamminati is elated to announce our new President James A. Savoie. Savoie comes from a strong background in non-profit higher education with nearly 30 years in various critical roles at University of the Arts, Philadelphia University, and New York University Tisch School of the Arts.

Within those institutions, his responsibilities have included: curriculum development, managing student academic success, managing international education programs, and overseeing Board, faculty, and student relations, to name a few. He is also known for his steady record of successfully managing and developing highly visible and significant projects.

“To be joining the community of artists and scholars at Studio Incamminati is exciting and inspiring for me,” said Savoie. “Meeting some of the Studio’s faculty and students I was struck both by the singular commitment to the Studio’s vision and the diversity of perspectives and backgrounds. To lead this school into its third decade will be a great honor. Together, with the Studio’s faculty I hope that we will continue to honor the vision of the school’s founder while pushing our students to move beyond their limits, developing and expressing their own voice as contemporary artists.”

We welcome James to the Studio Incamminati family and look forward to the initiatives and growth we strive to experience under his tenure.

"We are thrilled to welcome James as the new President of Studio Incamminati. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and shares our vision of a vigorous and dynamic future. In the true spirit of 'incamminati', I am anticipating a period of profound collaboration as we embark on a new chapter." said Dan Thompson, Dean of Fine Arts.
